We are seeking a Disaster Recovery Consultant to design and implement disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data and systems can be quickly restored in the event of an outage. This role involves setting recovery objectives, configuring backup and failover processes, and testing disaster recovery plans regularly. The ideal candidate will have experience with disaster recovery frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.
- Set and maintain RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) targets.
- Configure and test failover processes for key services.
- Document disaster recovery plans and provide training to staff.
- Perform regular drills to validate recovery procedures.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Familiarity with backup and failover tools.
- Certifications like Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE) or CBCP are advantageous.
This role is critical for ensuring our business can continue functioning smoothly during and after a disaster event.
