Our virtual server environment is experiencing a number of operational challenges that are impacting our business. • Manual VM Management: Streamline VM provisioning, cloning, and template management to reduce administrative overhead and increase consistency.
• Inefficient Backup Strategy: Review and improve our current backup and disaster recovery plan to ensure our virtual machine data is protected and recoverable.

3. Required Expertise & Technical Skills

We are looking for a specialist with a proven track record of managing virtual environments. The ideal candidate must have:

• Core Platforms: Proven experience with at least one major virtualization platform: VMware ESXi/vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Infrastructure Skills: A strong understanding of virtual networking (vSwitches, network adapters) and virtual storage (datastore management, SAN/NAS).
• Operational Skills: Proficiency in performance monitoring, troubleshooting virtualization-related issues, and implementing backup solutions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP for VMware, MCSA for Hyper-V) are highly desirable and will be given preference.

Beyond the initial implementation, we require a commitment to providing thorough documentation of all configurations, settings, and procedures.
