Overview:

We are a rapidly scaling e-commerce platform with a microservices architecture. Our current monitoring is fragmented, with different tools for metrics, logs, and traces, making it difficult to get a holistic view of our system health.

The Challenge:
Our monitoring infrastructure is not scalable and lacks a unified observability strategy. We cannot easily correlate metrics from one service with logs from another, which makes troubleshooting complex issues slow and painful. We need a single, integrated platform to provide comprehensive insights.

We need a senior professional to design and implement a new, cloud-native observability platform. This involves selecting and integrating a combination of tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry for tracing, Prometheus for metrics, Loki or ELK for logging), establishing a centralized dashboard for our services, and creating an alerting framework that is proactive rather than reactive.
Required Experience:

At least 7-10 years of experience in a senior DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Architecture role. The freelancer must have hands-on experience in architecting and implementing large-scale observability solutions.
