The primary challenge is to prevent the complexity and security breaches that arise from managing access separately across these platforms.

Key Responsibilities to Solve the Challenge

• Integrated  Architecture Design: Design and implement a comprehensive IAM architecture that unifies all on-premise systems and cloud platforms. The goal is to establish a single identity for each user (Single Sign-On - SSO).
• Unified Identity Solutions: Implement standard protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect to create a unified authentication system, allowing users to access all necessary resources with a single login.
• Privileged Access Management (PAM): Establish a system to control, monitor, and manage access for privileged users and accounts (e.g., system administrators) to critical organizational resources. This includes implementing solutions to mitigate security risks.
• Automation and Governance: Develop scripts and tools to automate identity management processes, such as granting access to new employees or revoking it upon departure. Implement auditing and reporting mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal and external security policies.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and development teams to integrate IAM solutions into software development and deployment processes.
