Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our sensitive systems, networks, and data against evolving cyber threats. This critical role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures, conducting audits, and providing strategic recommendations to strengthen our organization's overall security posture.

• Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive security measures to protect networks, systems, and data from unauthorized access, data loss, and cyberattacks.    
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.    
  • Monitor security systems and network events to detect and respond to security threats and incidents in real-time.    
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) and best practices.    
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools, recommending solutions to enhance our defensive capabilities.    
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure management.    
  • Provide cybersecurity training and awareness to employees to strengthen the human layer of defense.    
  • Prepare detailed reports on security findings, incidents, and the overall cybersecurity posture for stakeholders.    
  • Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and antivirus software.    
• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.    
  • Proven work experience of 5+ years in a cybersecurity role, with expertise in network security, application security, or vulnerability management.    
  • Strong understanding of network architectures, protocols, and security concepts.    
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.    
  • Possession of relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
