Mission Summary:

We are hiring a DevOps expert to design, deploy, and configure a powerful centralized logging and monitoring solution using the ELK Stack. This project is a top priority to provide real-time insights and enable proactive troubleshooting for our microservices.

Our business operates on a complex microservices architecture, and our application logs and metrics are scattered across dozens of servers and containers. This "observability gap" is a critical risk: troubleshooting is a slow, reactive, and frustrating process, and we lack a comprehensive understanding of our system's health and performance. We cannot scale our business effectively without a single source of truth for our logs and metrics. We need an expert to build a solution that turns our data into actionable insights.

Your Mission:

As the DevOps Engineer for this mission, you will be responsible for creating our core observability platform. Your mission objectives are:

• Architecture & Deployment: Design and deploy a production-ready ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) on our cloud platform.
• Data Ingestion: Configure log and metric collection agents (e.g., Filebeat, Metricbeat) on all our microservices and servers to ensure all data is funneled into the centralized platform.
• Visualization & Dashboards: Create a suite of custom Kibana dashboards that provide clear, real-time visualizations of key performance indicators (KPIs), error rates, and system health.
• Alerting & Automation: Configure a robust alerting system based on custom thresholds and error logs to enable proactive issue detection.
• Knowledge Transfer: Provide comprehensive documentation and a training session for our internal team to ensure they can effectively use and maintain the new platform.

Who We're Looking For:

This mission is for a skilled, experienced DevOps engineer with a deep passion for observability. The ideal candidate has:

• Extensive, hands-on experience with the ELK Stack in a production environment.
• A strong understanding of cloud platforms and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with other monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana is a significant plus.
• The ability to transform raw data into a logical and usable visualization platform.
