AI Consultant Needed to Prioritize Automation Opportunities for a Logistics Company

Help us decide where AI is worth implementing

We are a regional logistics business with approximately 80 employees. Our operations team handles shipment enquiries, proof-of-delivery documents, invoice exceptions, and customer updates across email, spreadsheets, and a transport management system.

Several vendors have proposed AI solutions, but we need an independent assessment before committing to implementation.

The decisions we need to make

Which workflows are suitable for AI? Which would benefit more from conventional automation? What data and system access would be required? Which initiative should we fund first?

We want a practical recommendation grounded in our operating conditions.

Your engagement

You will interview up to six stakeholders, review four candidate workflows, and assess representative documents and available system interfaces. For each opportunity, consider business value, data readiness, integration complexity, operating costs, and the consequences of an incorrect output.

Financial estimates should state their assumptions and distinguish measurable savings from potential benefits.

What we expect at the end

- An executive recommendation identifying the two strongest opportunities.

- A scored assessment of all four workflows.

- A readiness and dependency register.

- A build-versus-buy recommendation for the leading use case.

- A scoped pilot brief with success metrics and a budget range.

- A 90-day implementation roadmap.

- A presentation and decision workshop with our management team.

We will provide anonymised samples, process descriptions, and stakeholder access. Software development and vendor procurement are outside this engagement.
